Dog Cooling Mat Size Guide: Pick Length So They Actually Nap On It

Cooling mats fail most often because the pad is shorter than the pet’s resting stretch. If elbows hang off the edge, many dogs leave for the couch.

Measure first

  1. Wait until your dog is already lying down.
  2. Measure nose-to-hip along the resting line (or collar-to-base of tail if that is how they curl).
  3. Choose a mat at least that long. Wider is nicer for side-sleepers; length is the non-negotiable.

ChicFind sizes (live storefront)

  • 56×40 cm — $16.99 — small dogs / cats / lap naps
  • 63×50 cm — $20.99
  • 76×59 cm — $25.99
  • 85×65 cm — $30.99
  • 100×80 cm — $37.99

If you are between sizes, size up. Returning for “changed my mind on size” is not offered; quality issues within 30 days need order number + photos/video to huhaihua@shopchicfind.com.

What “cooling” means here

This is a soft summer nap pad — a cooler resting surface, not a veterinary cooling device. We do not claim Ice Silk, gel packs, or a guaranteed body-temperature drop.

Care

Keep the mat clean and dry between uses. Store away from direct heat or sunlight. Follow the product page care notes for wash details.
