Pet hair doesn’t come out in the washing machine — wet fabric holds onto it, and it redistributes across everything in the drum. It comes out in the dryer, when tumbling and heat loosen it. These foam balls give the loosened hair something to cling to on the way to the lint trap. Throw three in with the load, clean the lint trap afterwards, done.

Run a 10-minute no-heat tumble with the balls before washing, then clean the lint trap and wash as normal. Most of the loose hair comes off dry, so it never gets wet and welded into the fibres in the first place. Owners who do this notice a much bigger difference than those who only use them after washing.

Do they work in the washing machine?
No. Dryer only. Wet hair clings to fabric — it’s tumbling and heat that release it.
How long do they last?
Many months of regular loads. Replace them when the foam surface has worn smooth — the texture is what catches the hair.
Are they noisy?
Far quieter than plastic or wool dryer balls — foam thuds rather than clatters.
Do I still need to clean the lint trap?
Yes, and more often — that’s a sign they’re working. A clogged lint trap is also a fire risk, so clean it every load regardless.

Returns. You can return an unused item in its original packaging within 30 days for a full refund. Message us first and we will issue a return authorisation — there is no restocking fee. Items that have been assembled, used by a pet or washed cannot be returned for hygiene reasons, so please check the dimensions and weight limits before ordering.
If your item arrives damaged, incomplete or not as described, email us with a photo within 30 days and we will replace it or refund you in full. You will not be asked to ship a damaged item back at your own cost.
