Two minutes, not ten. Start where they already like being touched — cheeks, under the chin, along the spine — and stop before they get irritated rather than when they tell you to. Never force the belly or the back legs; those are defended areas for most cats. A short pleasant session daily beats a long fight weekly, and it’s the frequency that reduces hairballs, not the duration.

Does it hurt?
The pins are curved with rounded tips and angled to glide rather than dig. Let it move with the coat rather than pressing down — pressure is what makes any pin brush uncomfortable.
Will it work on a long-haired cat?
For routine surface grooming, yes. A Persian or a heavy double coat also needs a wide-tooth comb or rake to reach the undercoat where mats actually start.
How often should I brush?
Short coats, a couple of times a week. Long coats, daily. During a seasonal moult, daily regardless.
Can I wash it?
Yes — rinse and dry fully before the pins go back in.

Returns. You can return an unused item in its original packaging within 30 days for a full refund. Message us first and we will issue a return authorisation — there is no restocking fee. Items that have been assembled, used by a pet or washed cannot be returned for hygiene reasons, so please check the dimensions and weight limits before ordering.
If your item arrives damaged, incomplete or not as described, email us with a photo within 30 days and we will replace it or refund you in full. You will not be asked to ship a damaged item back at your own cost.
