Dry food is coated in fats to make it palatable, and fats oxidise on contact with air. A bag rolled shut with a clip is still breathing. Six weeks in, the food smells different to your dog long before it smells different to you — which is the usual explanation for a dog that suddenly “goes off” a food it ate happily for months.
An airtight seal slows that down. Four latches and a gasket, wheels because 30 lb of kibble is heavy, and it folds flat when empty instead of taking up a cupboard permanently.

Put the bag inside the bin. Don’t pour the kibble in loose.
Two reasons. The bag is a fat-barrier liner designed for the job, and oils that soak into bare plastic go rancid and taint every future batch. And the bag carries the lot number and best-before date — which is the first thing you need if there’s ever a recall. Fold the bag down, drop it in, latch the lid.

Questions people actually ask
Should I pour the food in or keep the bag?
Keep the bag and put it in whole. It’s a purpose-made fat barrier, and it carries the lot number you’d need in a recall.
Does it really seal airtight?
Four latches compress a gasket. Wipe the gasket clean occasionally — kibble dust on the seal is what causes leaks.
Will it keep ants and pantry moths out?
A sealed gasket lid stops insects far better than a folded bag. Rodents are a different matter — nothing plastic is rodent-proof.
How do I clean it?
Wash with warm soapy water between bags and dry completely. Any residual moisture in a sealed bin encourages mould.

Returns. You can return an unused item in its original packaging within 30 days for a full refund. Message us first and we will issue a return authorisation — there is no restocking fee. Items that have been assembled, used by a pet or washed cannot be returned for hygiene reasons, so please check the dimensions and weight limits before ordering.
If your item arrives damaged, incomplete or not as described, email us with a photo within 30 days and we will replace it or refund you in full. You will not be asked to ship a damaged item back at your own cost.
