Built for the dogs most stands are too short for.

Most raised feeders top out around 12 inches, which is fine for a Spaniel and useless for a Great Dane. This one goes to 17.6″ across five settings, and takes bowls up to 11″ wide — the size large-breed owners actually use.

A tall dog at a floor bowl splays its front legs and cranks its neck down for the whole meal. Raising the bowl to lower-chest height lets them eat standing square. That’s the point of the product, and it’s the only claim we’ll make for it.

How to pick your height

Measure floor to the bottom of your dog’s chest — where the front legs meet the body. Set the bowl rim near that line. Reaching up means too high; a bent neck means go up a notch.

Something we’d rather you hear from us

Raised feeders are widely marketed as preventing bloat (gastric dilatation-volvulus). The evidence does not support that. A well-known Purdue University study found raised bowls associated with higher bloat risk in large and giant breeds — the opposite of the claim.

We sell this for eating posture and for keeping bowls from being pushed around the kitchen. If you own a deep-chested breed — Great Dane, Weimaraner, Standard Poodle, Setter — talk to your vet before switching to raised feeding.

Is this right for your dog?

✓  YES, IF
  • Large or XL breed — tall enough to need 14″+
  • Your bowls are 6.6–11″ across
  • Growing puppy — five settings covers years
  • Older dog with neck or elbow stiffness
✕  NO, IF
  • You expected bowls — stand only
  • Small or medium dog — 10.3″ is too tall at the lowest setting
  • Your bowls are wider than 11″ or have a wide lip
  • Your vet has advised against raised feeding

Questions people actually ask

Are bowls included?

No, this is the stand only. It fits bowls 6.6 to 11 inches across the top — measure yours first.

Does it prevent bloat?

No. Research has linked raised bowls to increased bloat risk in large and giant breeds. Buy it for posture, and ask your vet if you own a deep-chested breed.

Is it stable with a big dog leaning on it?

Yes at the lower settings. At full 17.6″ height any stand is taller than it is wide, so set it against a wall if your dog nudges the bowl while eating.

Can I change the height later?

Yes — that’s the point of five settings. Raise it as a puppy grows.
