Your dog will not use these on day one. Plan on a week.
Put treats on step one only. Next day, step two. Then three, then four. Do not lift your dog onto the stairs. Dogs that get placed on them learn nothing and avoid them afterwards. Almost every one-star review of pet stairs is really a review of the first 48 hours.
Questions people actually ask
Will it slide on hardwood?
The base grips bare floors. On a very smooth polished floor, push the back edge against the bed frame so it can’t travel.
Can a cat use it?
Yes — and older cats often take to it faster than dogs do.
My dog is 9 and already limping. Is this enough?
Stairs reduce future impact but they don’t treat existing joint disease. If your dog is limping now, see a vet. This is a preventive tool, not a treatment.
Does the cover really come off?
Full zip. Wash cold, air dry. Don’t tumble dry — the fleece pills.
Will it hold a 60 lb dog?
It will take the weight once, but the foam will compress permanently. We’d say no.

Returns. You can return an unused item in its original packaging within 30 days for a full refund. Message us first and we will issue a return authorisation — there is no restocking fee. Items that have been assembled, used by a pet or washed cannot be returned for hygiene reasons, so please check the dimensions and weight limits before ordering.
If your item arrives damaged, incomplete or not as described, email us with a photo within 30 days and we will replace it or refund you in full. You will not be asked to ship a damaged item back at your own cost.
