Reflecto Leash Hands-Free Dog Lead
First order: WELCOME10 — 10% off at checkout
Both hands free. The leash stays on you, not in a fist.
A waist leash is for walking or jogging when you do not want a handle in your hand — keys, a coffee, or a steady pace.
This one is reflective nylon so you show up after dark, with a retractable lead for some give, and a build meant to take a strong pull. It is not a substitute for training a dog that lunges at bikes or other dogs. Use a belt that sits on bone, not a soft waist, and keep a hand ready on the line in traffic.
What it is for
Walk or jog without holding a handle the whole time.
Helps you and the dog be seen on evening walks.
Some slack for a sniff, then you take the line back in. Not for crowded sidewalks unless you lock it short.

Is this right for your dog?
Skip it if your dog still bolts at squirrels — a waist leash puts that pull on your hips.
- Your dog already walks without constant lunging
- You jog or walk and want both hands free
- You walk after dark and want reflective material
- You will still hold the line near roads
- Your dog is still in reactive training
- You need a short traffic lead only
- You want a stated length or dog-weight limit — we do not have one
- You have a back or hip injury
Fit the belt on your hips, not your stomach. Keep the lead short until you know how it feels when the dog hits the end. Cross streets with the line in your hand.
Questions people actually ask
Why are some colors a different price?
Lake water green is listed at $32.99. The other color suits are listed at $52.81. Pick the variant on the page.
Is it really retractable?
Yes. Treat it like any retractable lead in a crowd: keep it short.
Will it stop a hard pull?
It is built for strong pulls. It will not train a lunging dog. If your dog can pull you over, use a harness and a short lead first.
